Character(s): Devero
Spoilers: I don't play many video games so no need to worry about spoiling me!
Death sense: There's not much for Than to sense but you're welcome to have him pick up on what's there. Dev has had to kill Eight Whole People in the course of his career with his world's version of military special ops, which makes him grizzled and hardcore where he comes from. (Please feel free to laugh.) His kill record is clean, which means they were all judged to be last resort defensive kills by the people who evaluate those things where he comes from, but he still feels guilty and frustrated about having to have made them at all.

Part of this frustration and guilt comes from the fact that he's a several-generations-removed survivor of an apocalyptic plague that took 99 out of every 100 people on Earth, so human life is super super SUPER precious where he comes from. People aren't supposed take the lives of other people, nature and the failures of human society does that. His society basically reacted to that much death by developing as many methods they could to stave it off for as long as possible. But since his world is a 'realistic' sci-fi, that mostly has to do with really robust health care and medical developments, so may not be detectable in any significant way beyond that he's a really, really healthy dude, with any natural death due to him a long way off in his future. (Like, over a hundred years into his future, maybe more.)

He's also dating a guy who died violently before coming to the train and has had to deal with (and deal) so much death, so much; so Devero's kind of grappling with the realization that he's on a train full of people for whom murder is just a fact of life. Kind of uncomfortable...

Anyway, IDK how much of that would be detectable by or of interest to Than, but it's there if you want to use it!
